Very chuffed that you are putting us ahead of Strictly & XFactor Feel very special
On a serious note, thank you so much for taking the initiative to help - fundraising events are very thin on the ground at this time of year and we, as you know, are desparate for funding.
If anyone out there wants to help Angela, Julie & family please drop them a p.m.
Plus if anyone is considering running their own event and needs some help, guidance or info just give me a shout. _________________ SHARONR - ADMIN

Just what we need at this time of year
PS - Have you got ear muffs, scarves, gloves and most importantly, mulled wine, all ready to go |

Good Evening from an extremely wet and windy Hemel Hempstead......
As you can imagine the elements were against us this evening....... we managed to set up the soggy stall and the adult and children's tombolas were very popular with the fantastic people who braved the weather this evening..... NO-ONE left without a prize and an RR flyer....... Belle was stunning in her wetlook coat and pink bandana... and attracted many dog lovers and an extremely large gorgeous Irish wolfhound who looked DOWN longingly at the Liver Cake.........
Angela, Tony, Ollie and I took turns to hold the gazebo down and Bex shouted her head off at the passers by and did a sterling job collecting money....!!!
Sadly the evening was not as lucrative as we would have liked but we have tried to spread the RR word.....
....our saturated total...... was £64.50.........
We have a lot of prizes left and I am looking into an INDOOR event in December so that we may be able to attend to bump up the profits....
Many thanks to Angela and Belle, my lovely family, not forgetting my husband who has lost the instructions on how to erect our Gazebo , and the Co-op for the lovely bottle of red wine which I am just about to open.....!!!!
Lots of Love....... The Hertfordshire Soggy-Knicker Brigade...... XXXXXXX
PS Photos may follow when the camera dries out.....!!!!! |

Well done, all of you. The weather has been foul and you must have done a sterling job to raise that amount
A glass of red being raised to you all
