I probably should have told you all earlier but this one is confirmed!!
It looks like it will be a big day if the info given by the organisers is anything to go by:
"and following the success of the dog show at last years even there will be the return of the Northlands Park Dog Show as a major feature of the Fun Day. With the funfair rides, games, stalls and a stage full of entertainment for all the family the Events Group are planning another fantastic sommunity event."
The confirmed classes are:
1 Cutest puppy – 4 to 12 months old
2 Golden Oldie – age 7 years +
3 Prettiest Bitch
4 Most handsome Dog
5 Child Handler – 14 years and under.
6 Best X-Breed
7 Best Pedigree
8 Best Rescue
9 Doggie Family – 2 or more dogs
10 Doggie Fancy Dress
11 Dog judge would most like to take home.
1st & 2nd placed winners from classes 1-8 go through to Best In Show.
12 Best in Show
All entries are £1 per dog per class.
Entry desk will be opening at 11 am, with the show starting at 12 noon.
Rosettes will be given for 1st to 5th places.
There will be a Best in Show & Reserve Best in Show Trophies to be won
Also a Silver Salver for Best Rescue.
With the Greyhound Walks, Agility and Display Team attending.
They will also have lots of stalls including: dog chipping, groomers, I D tags too. and the petographer will also be there if you would like a portrait of your lovely dogs
AND she says that a TV company will be filming on the day, so could be good publicity!!!!! (i must make sure Lucie has a wash and doesn't roll in anything disgusting!!!)
Should be a good day if any of you can make it!!?? |

Directions etc from the organiser
| Quote: | Just another quick update for the day.
If you are coming along to support us, enter or in the display, please note, the only parking we can allow on the field when the show opens are those that are needed for the buisnes, IE if you have any equipment that runs off your car battery etc.
There is a large parking area (field) alittle further down from the park, all entries for the dog show will need to enter the park from the PARKSIDE Entrance, to find this, from the A127 come off at the A132, follow the A132 passed Sainsbury's on the left, straight across 2 roundabouts, at the third roundabout, turn left, at next roundabout straight across, this road is Ashlyns, first turning left is PARKSIDE you will find the entrance about 150 yards on the left.
The list of exhibitors on the day are.
Clarks Farm Trailer.
Greyhound Walks.
Petographer.
Daisys Dog Deli.
CATMONKEY, Pet Services including dog chipping.
Rethink pet supplies
Ideal Tags
Rescue remedies
Gemini Rescue Kennels
K9 Crazy, representing Canine Partners.
Mucky Mutz
Saphire Dog Training School.
Hope you can make it. |
Looks like it will be a fun day and the BBC weather man has promised me it won't rain (if it does, i will be writing him a stern letter of complaint!!! ) |
